Marcin Nowotny

PhD, Professor, Scientific Advisor

Prof. Marcin Nowotny, head of the Laboratory of Protein Structure at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, is a co-founder and the Principal Investigator of Preclinical Drug Development Unit. He is a co-author of over 30 scientific publications (such as: Cell, Molecular Cell, EMBO Journal, Nature Structural Molecular Biology, Nature Communications). Dr. Nowotny has received prestigious research grants, such as EMBO Installation Grant, the ERC Starting Grant, the Wellcome Trust International Senior Research Fellowship (twice) and the Howard Hughes International Early Career Scientist Award. Between 2003 and 2008, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the group of Wei Yang Laboratory, National Institutes of Health.
